Troubleshooting
Host doesn’t detect H1 at all
Try a different USB-A port — some hubs or extension cables don’t pass data through reliably — and confirm the port is powered. If it’s still not detected, try a different host machine to rule out a driver issue.
H1 boots into the wrong mode
Remember the button is only checked once, right at power-on. Unplug the device, hold the Upload button down first, then plug it in while still holding it. Releasing too early or too late is the most common cause of landing in the wrong mode.
Script uploads but doesn’t run, or runs incorrectly
Double-check the script compiled without errors in the IDE before uploading. Also confirm your host’s keyboard layout matches what your script assumes — since H1 types keystrokes blindly, a mismatched layout can cause the wrong characters to appear.
