Mantis

Mantis is a USB-A device that the host trusts as an ordinary keyboard. Plug it in and it types — your payload, at machine speed, exactly as written in HDC. This is the production silicon we shipped under the H1 codename.

  • Plug-and-play USB-A stick — no cable, no adapter, it is the connector
  • Trusted instantly as a standard USB HID keyboard — no drivers to install
  • Doubles as a USB CDC serial device — talk to it over a plain COM port
  • Works out of the box — payload lives onboard, no external SD card needed
  • Program it in HDC — cross-compatible with Ducky Script, so your existing payloads just run

FAQ

  • A USB keystroke-injection device. To a computer it looks like a normal USB keyboard, so it can type a saved sequence of keystrokes far faster than a person — useful for automation, provisioning and authorised security testing.

  • You write a script in HDC, our keystroke language, inside HiveFusion Studio. Studio compiles it, lets you simulate it, and flashes it to the device over USB. The demo payload that ships with Studio is a good starting point.

  • No. Mantis presents itself as a standard HID keyboard, which every operating system already trusts. Nothing is installed on the host.

  • The device is legal to own and use on systems you own or have written permission to test. Using it against systems you do not control is illegal. Mantis is built for professionals, educators and researchers operating within that boundary.

  • H1 was the internal codename during development. The shipping product is Mantis — same board, final name.

  • Mantis is available now. Because every unit is built in-house, allow 4–7 business days for us to build and dispatch yours after you buy.
